Incorrect removal of the PnP cap may cause damage to the CPU socket contacts. NEVER remove PnP Cap as pictured on the above. Use your thumb to remove PnP Cap (Pick and Place Cap) from the CPU socket by lifting the cap tab. Remove CPU protection cover: Attach your index finger to the upper edge of the PnP Cap. Open the CPU socket: Disengage the lever by pressing it down and sliding it out of the hook. Type B: CPU protection cover in CPU socket. The protection cover will automatically come off by itself. Close the socket: Press down the load lever, and secure it with the load plate tab under the retention tab. Insert the 115x-Pin CPU: Make sure locate Pin1 and the two orientation key notches, then carefully place CPU into the socket. At this time, you do not have to remove the protection cover. Open the CPU socket without remove CPU protection cover: Disengage the lever by pressing it down and sliding it out of the hook. Type A: CPU protection cover on the top of CPU socket.

Since the system reaches the log in screen from being powered off in about 10-11secs, it's not an issue that it takes a long time to boot, because it boots up insanely fast (I never even see the Windows loading screen), but not sleeping is bugging me.Dr. I've checked everything I can think of (disabled the Intel smart connect stuff, disabled wake-on-lan and went into the power settings to allow the system to sleep when sharing media). What happens is it goes to sleep and stays asleep for about 20-30 seconds, then it wakes up again.

I formatted and reinstalled Windows and re-installed all of the drivers (minus the network drivers), but the system still will not stay asleep. The only issue I've really had was installing the network drivers from ASRock's website basically killed my networking all together, and the the system will not stay asleep. The system runs great and is extremely fast and quiet (other than the hum from the water pump).
